George Bard Art
The art-making journey for me is inspired by people, places and things. It’s a process of discovery. Since the early days of learning how to work on drawings, prints or paintings, the desire to capture a moment in time or to open myself up to the beauty of a landscape or seascape was what moved me to want to create. There has always been this call to pay attention and to give voice to something that brought me closer to the essence of a place or even the action of simply working through experimental means and to wake up. There also remains a sense of gratitude or wonder for what is in front of me and how to respond to it. How to open up to the experience of being with these creative mediums and to make a statement in visual terms.
